Dr. Sticker was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana, and grew up deeply submerged in the New Orleans culture. Her interest in veterinary medicine and animal care developed at a young age. She started volunteering at the Louisiana SPCA at 12 years old and went on to work as a kennel attendant in high school and then veterinary technician in college. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a BS in Animal, Dairy, and Poultry Science. She then continued her education at LSU's School of Veterinary Medicine, obtaining her DVM in 2022. Although she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, her special interests are soft tissue surgery and emergency care. She has three rescues at home, including James P. Sullivan a 6-year-old Lab/Pitbull mix, Rudolph a 1-year-old Boxer/Border Collie mix, and Panini a 4-year-old Torbie cat. She is a huge Taylor Swift fan and enjoys traveling, painting, and spending time with her furbabies.
