Dr. Sawyer grew up in Canyon Lake, TX where he was actively involved in FFA, swim team, and acheived the rank of Eagle scout in Boy Scouts of America. He received his bachelors degree in animal biology from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, and then earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University.

Dr. Sawyer has a strong clinical interest in surgery and dentistry. In his spare time, he is an avid traveler, outdoor enthusiast, and enjoys staying active through working out and practicing martial arts.
